Making Top-bar Hives in Cameroon

In this video we introduce the top-bar hive used in Cameroon as part of our Project work. The top-bar hive is a simple design that can be constructed out of a wide variety of readily available materials, and is relatively easy to make. The use of the top-bar means combs can be moved and this helps to simplify colony management and harvesting. This project in Cameroon was supported by Size of Wales.
